The CV
Initially I worked at a mixed Vet practise in the Borders, where I gained the Veterinary Nurse qualification.
As well as my VN work, I kept up riding and horse studies then sat the BHS stages 1 and 2.
I then left the practice, to further my BHS qualifications and gain experience in the horse industry, passing stage 3, PTT, stage 4, IT, and ‘I’ Stable Managers, all before the young age of 24!!!
Highlights include working for Iain Couttie BHSI, training at Gleneagles, and Yard Manager at Millfield School ( a private school for children with a very special sports department which included a spectacular equestrian centre)
I then spent two years in New Zealand and Australia, where I worked with Grand Prix Dressage horses and even managed some experience on a cattle station.
